Artimus Pyledriver

I like many different kinds of music / bands, each for a personal reason. The primal / pagan part of me loves this type of music. This music is like a drum circle. It calls all the primal earthly Horned God spirits of hunting, running, jumping, feeding and mating. This music calls to all my male ancestors who have gone before me to the great beyond.

Pan's Labyrinth

What to expect: The movie is in Spanish so you have to Speak it or Read it

What not to expect: You every day run of the mill M. Night Shyamalan style ferry tail.

We enjoyed every twist and turn this movie / experience had to offer.

In Memory of Shawn Poirier

He lived witchcraft to the fullest, making countless media appearances over the years, teaching classes, performing mediumship, divination, and psychic work of many types, and creating www.festivalofthedead.com

Read Shawns' "In Memory of" page here.

Read Church of Satan article here.

On a personal note I came across the site while looking for things to do when you visit Salem Mass. Something I have not been able to do yet but I have not giving up hope to attend a event or two next year.

Back from Cancun

This gringo is back from Cancun. I added some pics of my visit to the Tulum ruins and the hotel I stayed in. What you won't see is the Spring Break action that I witnessed at night. Some things you just don't capture on film.

Bible back in school

Texas wants the Bible back in the class room [read more] and I say yea lets get the Bible back in the class room. We can use it to as a door stop to keep the theological door open. Then we can openly discuss works about Wicca, Paganism and Occultism.

What is it going to be Christian or Occultist?

My opinion is that if you believe in what you read in the Bible or proclaim to be Christian then you have no business dabbling in the paranormal. Because you're already hooked up with the J.C man with the plan. You know how it's going to end right?!? Anything else is pretty much blasphemy.

So I was thinking that I'm pretty safe as a pagan to listen to a Pod-Cast about the Paranormal. The short answer is Nope.

I recently listened to a Pod-Cast of a on site haunting investigation. Right in the middle of explaining the happenings of this paranormal hot spot. The host a proud Christian, if he says so himself, spouts his contempt for the "Left Wing / Political Correct / Gay" conspiracy between drags on his cigarette. Whoa! back the Ecto-1 up. What does this have to do with anything paranormal. Plus what ever happen to not serving two masters. Who is stronger God or Nicotine? Not a very good witness in my opinion.

Then icing on the cake is the promo for the Pod-Cast. I don't remember it word for word but it had to do with a Warning "this pod-cast may offending Wiccans and Pagans and some other crap because they are the God and Guns Paranormal Pod-Cast." Talk about S**ting were you eat. I mean come on, with out pagans you wouldn't have the paranormal.

If we all believed in the Christian bible everything paranormal would be of the Devil and anybody thinking different would be burnt at the stake and we all could go home. You Christians are welcome into our "paranormal backyard" but don't start spouting your social and political agendas. Save it for Sunday.

Son Of the Beach

The family and I spent Saturday the 16th in Daytona for the 4th Annual Pagans Day Out hosted by Stone Fusion World Wide (www.stonefusionworldwide.com). We picked up some Wiccan things for me and a couple of Yule gifts for friends and family. The people were very friendly and informative. The Space Coast Pagans (www.scpfl.org) had a cool down tent to escape the heat. Drum Circle was provided by The Earth Drum Tribe.

The BeachAfter the PDO we went to the Beach. As I was impressed with the majisty of the Land meeting the Sea and the Sea meeting the Sky my wife was more impressed that we saw a “IHop”. After the excitement of the “IHop” wore off we hit the beach with out any beach supplies so we just stood knee deep in the ocean watching the para-sails and the Good Year Blimp. We did learn that the tide does come in and shoes float a way if not watched. All in all it was a good time had by all.
